Call for Volunteers - Rural Smiles Foundation
We are seeking dedicated, passionate, and skilled volunteers to support our growing programs and operations. This is an opportunity to contribute to impactful, community-centered work while gaining valuable experience in the nonprofit and development sector. Based in Kampala Full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Volunteers may contribute in one or more of the following areas Programs & Research Support project implementation, research, data collection, and reporting. Communications & Advocacy Content creation, social media management, storytelling, and campaigns. Digital & Technology Support platforms like SPACEUG, digital safety initiatives, and data systems. Fundraising & Partnerships Proposal writing, donor research, and partnership development. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Data analysis, impact tracking, and learning documentation. Administration & Operations HR support, documentation, coordination, and knowledge management.
• We are looking for individuals who Are passionate about social impact, human rights, and community development. Have strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Are self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team. Bring relevant skills or experience in any of the areas listed above. Are committed to ethical practice, confidentiality, and respect for diversity.
• Practical experience working with a grassroots organization in Uganda. Exposure to real-world projects in health, civic space, and digital rights. Opportunities to contribute to innovative platforms like SPACEUG. Professional development and networking opportunities. A certificate of participation upon successful completion.
